LEADING WITH PASSION AND INTEGRITY
Chief Executive Officer
A second-generation affordable housing developer with over 50 years of experience, Dan has directed the development of over 2,000 units of affordable housing throughout California and over 2,000 units of single-family housing in Riverside County since founding the Company in 1979.
Dan’s passion is rooted in positive and sustainable community development and enabling people and families to improve their housing and life outcomes. He is responsible for the strategic vision of the company and maintains strong ties to visionaries in the community, government and private sector.
In 2019, Dan was recognized by the Inland Empire Ronald McDonald House for his affordable housing developments and generous contributions to the community overall. He has served on the Board of Directors of Builders Industry of America as well as the Director of Builders Council of California, and he is a member of the Riverside County Workforce Development Board.
COMMITTED TO QUALITY
Chief Operating Officer
Karen oversees all aspects of accounting and general corporate operations. Her responsibilities include financial strategies, budgeting, audits, tax returns, human resources, financial forecasting and reporting. She is a Big Four Certified Public Accountant from PricewaterhouseCoopers and has specialized in real estate and affordable housing finance for over 29 years.
VP, Asset Management
Theresa oversees all properties within the Palm Communities portfolio of multi-family housing. She is responsible for fiscal and operational performance of the company's holdings as well as the projects’ compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations.
Theresa has managed real estate for over 30 years and has over 23 years of experience in the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program (LIHTC). She holds the Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation since 2000 and currently serves on the HCCP Board of Governors.
EMPOWERING THOUGH TEAMWORK
Senior Project Manager
Erik is responsible for all aspects of the development process, including land acquisition, due diligence, entitlements, debt and equity financing, construction oversight and project compliance. Erik’s professional low-income housing experience began in 2004 and includes the successful development of 18 apartment communities representing 1,000-plus units and over $350 million in debt, equity and subsidy financing, including low-income housing tax credits, HOME, MHSA, AHP, HCD, and RDA funds.
Construction Accounting Manager
Jill is responsible for project draws to fund on going communities as well as performing accounting functions across the board for all companies. She is the one-woman accounting stop for project accounting, accounts & construction payables, general ledger analysis, annual audits, bank reconciliations and many more. She’s worked in asset management for the last years, and held various accounting positions including: Project and years and Staff Accountant, Accounts Payable Lead and Supervisor.

Project Manager
Derek started his career working for Multi-Family Builders Inc in 2010 as an Assistant Superintendent, and worked up to the position of Director of Construction. He is very happy to be part of a company that builds great communities for low income households in California.
In addition to being responsible for construction management, Derek duties branch into the specific field of storm water management, where he has acquired his CASQA QSD, and CPESC certifications. As the in-house "Qualified Stormwater Designer" for Multi-family Builders Inc, he is proud to be actively involved with the storm water industry that is working to keep America's waterways clean throughout the construction process and after its completion.
