The centerpiece of Mission Palms, the historic Hillis-Hise House, was designed by G. Stanley Wilson, designer of the Rotunda at the National Historic Landmark the Mission Inn. The two-story turn of the century home is now a fully restored 3,660-square foot community center for Mission Palms Senior Community, featuring community rooms and an exercise area. The pool and spa with wheelchair lift are adjacent. The projectโs interior street is curvilinear, allowing for free flowing building placement and an aesthetically pleasing site layout with open communal areas. Clustered on the 10 acres site are 11 residential buildings, six constructed in phase one and five constructed in phase two, as well as additional maintenance and laundry buildings. The project is home to a 201 units of rental housing designed to support independent living for seniors
