Rancho Dorado is a groundbreaking project in partnership with the City of Moreno Valley and the Riverside County Department of Mental Health’s HOPE Program (Homeless/Housing, Opportunities, Partnership, and Education). The two-phase 150-unit affordable community serves large families with incomes between 30% and 60% of Area Median Income (AMI). Within the project, 15 units of permanent supportive housing are scattered throughout, creating an inclusionary environment for all residents. Rancho Dorado is the first MHSA project in the Inland Empire.
The construction type is a combination of two-story and three-story Type V-B wood framing with stucco exterior and concrete slab-on-grade foundations. Exterior design details include Spanish tile roofs, mottled colored stucco, with architectural projections around selected windows/doors and stone veneers.
